Davison 2018 LB "ATH" Gabe Ellis received his 1st scholarship offer from Saginaw Valley State University on Wednesday evening.
The 6'2" 200 lbs do-it-all playmaker on defense has played like he was overdue for a spike in recruitment process and Ellis was glad to earn his first offer during his senior season.
Ellis had a standout performance right off the bat, when we saw Davison defeat Southfield A&T in an overtime thriller in the first week of the season. Ellis had several great plays throughout the game.
Gabe Ellis is extremely thankful that SVSU was his first offer, "I would really like to thank Coach Collins and the rest of his staff for the opportunity to play football for them at SVSU," said Ellis.
Ellis continued, "It's a relief to get the first one out of the way but I will stay hungry for more. SVSU has been great and has hosted me for a few visits and I've built a great relationship with many of the coaches there. I would also like to give a shoutout to my team at Davison for being there for me the whole way."
