Cass Tech 2019 RB Lewis Nichols committed to Central Michigan University on Monday, in a shocking decision to some.

The 6' 195 RB prospect had a top 4 of: Cincinnati, Minnesota, Pittsburgh, and Purdue that he announced 2 months ago.

After breaking out as a sophomore, Nichols had a solid junior season as he split reps in 2017 with classmate Jaren Mangham to form one of the best RB duos in the state.

Nichols commitment to CMU boosts the Chippewas to 10 in-state commits in their class of 2019.
