Muskegon 2018 S Will Shanks committed to Ferris State University on Monday evening over nearly a half-dozen D2 and NAIA offers.

The Bulldogs of Ferris State have been a strong pipeline to Muskegon in the past with several of their 2017 starters hailing from Muskegon.

Shanks led the state with 10 interceptions in 2017 and he also tallied 41 tackles and 23 passes deflected for the #1 ranked Muskegon Big Reds.
