Farmington Hills Harrison 2019 CB/RB Rod Heard is visiting Northwestern University this upcoming weekend.
The 5'11" 165 lbs CB/RB has had a huge junior season on both sides of the ball as Heard has emerged as a dangerous offensive weapon out of the backfield. In college though Heard will provide defenses with a lockdown Cornerback.
Heard holds 5 offers as of now, but missed this past camp season so is sure to see a spike in his recruitment soon.

8/23/2017: An unfortunate injury in track disabled him from performing in front of colleges this summer, so now that, that's in the past look for the Hawks CB to be in the discussion as one of the best cornerbacks in the state in 2019. Heard is a physical, lock-down type corner, who covers extremely well and suffocates receivers. Heard has elite ball skills and tracks the ball great. He can cover the 6'3+ receivers well.
College interest: As stated above there's a huge gap in his process this summer. Heard holds 5 offers. In these next 2 years, he'll be receiving more heavy interest.
