Colleges that have shown you interest:
I am very notably the "work hog" on the football field. I play every play with passion and grit and do not stop until the whistle is blown. It shows in the classroom as well.
How I play the game:
Pass Protection: Plays well with his hands. Stays on balance on the majority of his pass pro snaps and finishes DL when he has the chance.
Run Block/Hand Use: Strong on contact and has good aggressiveness to get downhill. Good hand placement and steering ability.
Toughness/Effort: Tough kid that likes the physicality aspect of the game. Works until he gets his man on the ground or until the whistle is blown.
Explosion/Power: Strong core and upper body. Uses his strength to dump guys or drive them out of the play.
Awareness: Understands scheme and DL games from playing the position. Can pick up late blitzers.
Size/Strength/Athleticism: Very good length at this stage. Has above average strength and athleticism to reach the 2nd level defenders.
Outlook on High School Football and it's experiences:
If were to describe my outlook thus far when it comes to high school football, I would use the word growth. I have grown so much as a player as well as a leader and a teammate. Throug tough challenges I have been able to get bak up and keep puching. Making my high school football experince that much greater
Discuss the potential opportunity of playing on the next level:
I like to take most of what I do as if it were my job. When it comes to college football, I could see myself as a clock-in, clock-out kind of player. I get to practice, learn my job, do my job, enjoy my job. Then do it over again each day. That is the mentality I carry through sports and academics. Thats where I could see coaches liking my mentality.
