Walled Lake Western 2019 QB Sam Johnson III has committed to Boston College (Story)
Walled Lake Western 2019 QB Sam Johnson III committed to Boston College on Monday evening, putting an end to one of the most decorated recruiting processes in the country.
Johnson made history when he was in 8th grade by becoming the first Michigan HS prospect to receive a Division 1 offer from Akron at the time.
Since then Johnson has led Southfield A&T and Walled Lake Western to playoff appearances in each of his first 3 seasons on Varsity.
Johnson accumulated 17 Division 1 offers during his career so far and earlier this month released a Top 5 that includes; Boston College, Iowa, Michigan, Missouri, and Syracuse.
This past weekend, Johnson III visited Ohio State but they didn't offer Johnson.
Johnson will join Belleville LB Marvin Ham as two Michigan players who are committed to Boston College's Class of 2019.
