Southfield A&T 2019 FS/RB Marcus Fuqua committed to the University at Buffalo on Saturday evening.

As a junior in 2017 Fuqua finished with 64 tackles, 11 deflected passes, 1 interception, and 1 forced fumble and at the time of his commitment holds 19 offers.

Fuqua who was on the Rising Stars bus tour that visited Buffalo last week, seen what he liked on his visit.

Fuqua is a versatile defender but surely a player with his combination of speed and size, will be a prototype Safety prospect for the Bulls.

Player Analysis
8/23/2017: In the wave of mass transfers out of Southfield A&T remained stud Marcus Fuqua. Fuqua is an absolute freak athlete at 6'1 180 lbs, but still, can fill up his body weight/muscle to attract more and more interest. Fuqua reads and reacts extremely well in his sophomore season of varsity where he had around 50 tackles and 6 interceptions (2 returned for touchdowns).
College interest: Fuqua has earned over a dozen MAC offers and Syracuse. It's obvious that they're all trying to beat the rush here.
