This week former Ithaca / Saginaw Valley State WR/DB Logan Hessbrooks informed The D Zone that he would be transferring from SVSU on a full release. Hessbrook will finish the semester at Saginaw Valley State before he heads elsewhere. Hessbrook will forever be known for his gutsy performance in the 2012 finals vs. Constantine where he entered the game at QB due to Travis Smith being injured and led the Yellowjackets to their 3rd of 4 State Titles in a row and 42nd straight win.

Hessbrook had this to say on his decision to transfer, "I just didn't feel like the program fit with my personal preferences. Nothing against any of my former teammates or coaching staff, but I had to make a change, and am looking for the program that is right for me and my family. Still a lot of my friends are in the program at SVSU, and I wish them nothing but the best."

Update: Hessbrook decided to walk-on at Central Michigan.
