Dearborn 2020 WR Tommy Guajardo is visiting the University of Notre Dame this upcoming weekend.

A touchdown waiting to happen with terrific ball skills, Guajardo is as exciting as they come when the ball is thrown in his direction and it looks like the Irish are the latest D1 school to have taken notice. Being one of the most complete wide receivers in the region and because of his well-rounded skill set, it is clear why he has been getting so much attention lately.

The fast, strong and physical receiver also shows tremendous work ethic off the field and will be seen this off-season in numerous invitation only national and regional combines like the US Army All-American National Combine, the Best of the Midwest, Nike’s The Opening, Adidas Rivals 3-Stripe Camp, Under Armour All-America, Adidas High School Best of the Best and others

Guajardo’s last visit to Notre Dame was earlier this summer when he and his Dearborn 7v7 team competed in Notre Dame’s annual 7v7 tournament. Dearborn went all the way to the finals and played in the stadium - ultimately running out of time and finishing in a close loss to Dewitt. Dearborn was the 2017 tournament runner up.

Guajardo commented on his upcoming visit “When my Dad texted me that Notre Dame had reached out to my high school coach letting him know that they were really interested in me, I thought maybe he was pulling my leg! Notre Dame has always been one of those programs that I’ve dreamed about being a part of. I really like the religious aspect of Notre Dame as well. Family, faith and football - I mean, what more could I ask for?”
