Dearborn 2020 WR Tommy Guajardo will be visiting will be visiting Big 10 program, Northwestern this upcoming weekend.

The Dearborn Pioneers just wrapped up a tough rebuilding season and showed great character and resilience in many gritty battles, as they had several near misses and close games in which all could have gone either way. Guajardo, who was recently selected as a Blue-Grey All American, is one of the young players that will be looking to help elevate the Dearborn program in the years to come.

Even at the sophomore status, Guajardo is ready to compete at the next level from just a developmental standpoint and as I have previously mentioned, you can also put a check mark in the size and frame departments.

Anyone that has been watching Guajardo knows that he is mature beyond his years in terms of talent, focus and effort. He’s just a do-it-all outside receiver who will undoubtedly be one of the state’s top pass-catching prospects in the 2020 class.

As he continues to improve his game, his combination of size, speed, technique and consistency will make it tough for any wideout to be more highly thought of.

Guajardo commented on his upcoming visit: “I have a lot of respect for Northwestern - the educational and athletic opportunities they have to offer are just incredible so I am really appreciative of the interest they are showing me and it’s very inspiring. I’m excited for what the future holds, but for right now, I just want to continue to be a student of the game and not just do it right, but do it at a high level. We just played our last game of the year but I’m still locked-in and focused on getting better: bigger, faster, stronger. There is no off-season for me. Period.”
