The Stevensville Lakeshore Lancers improved to 4-0 thanks to an incredible defensive effort that held a strong St. Joe offense to no points and made them settle for 2 field goals which wouldn't be enough on Friday night at the War by the Shore Classic.
The huge rivalry which features neighboring cities of; Stevensville and St. Joseph had both team enter the game at 3-0.
2018 QB Joel Brawley who on Saturday was offered by Olivet Nazarene threw a touchdown pass to his cousin Connor Brawley and Sean Branch scored a rushing touchdown to lift Lakeshore over St. Joseph by the score of 14-6.
The win is particular important to a senior like Brawley, Sean Branch, Tyler Hill, Bray Plomb, and Colin Ashley who in 4 years of high school didn't lose to St. Joseph.
