Clare 2019 WR/DB Brenden Sersaw is no stranger to success.

The 5-foot-9, 160-pound Sersaw has aspirations of playing at the next level and is looking forward to his recruiting to turn up now that coaches have all eyes on 2019 with most 2018 seniors signed.

“Last year I visited Ohio University, Western Michigan, and Central Michigan. It was cool and I liked all of them. I look forward to keeping in contact with all of them.”

Sersaw has dreams which can become a reality of playing Division 1 football but he’s also keeping his options open with D2 schools.

“This year I plan on going to some camps and going on some visits to some D2 schools too. I want to see Grand Valley, Saginaw Valley, Northwood, and Michigan Tech for sure and maybe some out of state schools.”

Although right now Sersaw doesn’t have an offer from a school yet he’s certainly excited for what it’s going to feel like.

“It will mean the world to me. All the work I’ve put in and it’s been my goal my whole life to get an offer from a school. I would thank God for his help.”

Sersaw is bound to land an offer sooner or later as the Junior has had three miraculous seasons for the Pioneers as a 1st team Division 5 and 6 All-State selection in 2017 and looks forward to another successful season to cap off his career at Clare before moving on to the college ranks.
