Ball State/Brother Rice 2014 WR Corey Lacanaria leads the NCAA with the Safest Hands according to Pro Football Focus which is an advanced statistic company.

Safe Hands are defined as the most receptions without a drop per PFF.

Lacanaria has 33 so far this year which is tied for #1 with Marquise Brown of Oklahoma.

Lacanaria was an outstanding receiver coming out of high school who held over a half-dozen offers plus a preferred walk-on from Ohio State and played on the Team Michigan All-Star team which defeated Ohio.

Lacanaria only recalled one drop during his high school career.
