2018 Sharpshooter Jack Ammerman picks up an offer from Ferris State
Ann Arbor Skyline 2018 Shooting guard Jack Ammerman picked up an offer from Ferris State University yesterday.
Ammerman is one of the top shooters in the state and has been since his freshman year. Whether off the catch, the dribble or spotted up, the 5'11 shooting guard is more than capable of knocking down shots at a high percentage from anywhere on the floor from 23 feet and in. He has textbook form and mechanics, and has consistently produced against high level competition.
This is Ammerman's 2nd official offer following a Lawrence Tech offer in August, but he reportedly has a couple D1 walk on offers as well.
Here are his junior year highlights:

- Player Analysis
1/20/2018: Ammerman is a coaches player. He does all the little things to perfection and gets the most of his ability and is knockdown shooter. He compliments Brandon Wade so well they might be the best combination in the entire state. Ammerman is a limited a little with his size standing just 6'0 but is strong enough he doesn't get pushed around and fights for everything he has. He played exceptionally well Saturday against Old Redford and was a key reason Skyline knocked off a very talented group Redford team adding 13 points and five rebounds. He's also just the second Skyline player to score 1,000 career points joining teammate Brandon Wade.
Recruiting: Ammerman is not yet committed anywhere and should be getting some Mid-Major D1 looks. He holds an offer from Lawerence Tech.
