Coachable! Quick study! Trustworthy - as a sophomore starter I called the plays for the Defense. Complete trust with the coaching staff - coach says I am "always in the right spot on the field." Work Ethic - in gym 6 days a week (plus in school training); 2 times a week work with agility coach; attend various camps. Film Study - engaged in not only my own performance, but the performance of my teammates as I have the privilege of making sure we are all in the right spot pre-snap. Second on team with 85 tackles as a sophomore. Strength is one of my major assets, current benching PR 315. Football is my passion! Two-sport athlete (Football and Baseball). Hit 400' Home Run during High School last year - shows strength.
I live in a district where I could go to any of the three area high schools. I choose Walled Lake Western (WLW) for their proud football tradition, state of current program, and the new coaching staff. I have never looked back on that decision. The opportunities both on and off the field have exceeded my expectations. Team qualified for the playoffs each of my first two seasons. We advanced to the District Finals both years. In 2022, WLW won the LVC conference championship. I look forward to my junior and senior sessions. I want to continue to lead by example, working when no one is looking on my game, and inspiring my teammates to do the same. One of my future goals is for my team to make a long run in the High School playoffs. My personal goal is to work each and every day giving myself every opportunity to explore as many collegiate football opportunities as possible - leaving nothing on the table - no regrets.
When I was 4 1/2 years old, I brought home a flyer from school and asked my parents to sign me up for Flag Football. I have not stopped playing since that day. Football is a passion of mine. I absolutely want to play football at the next level (Collegiate). My strength sets me apart, and that doesn't come out in the 40-yard dash. My awareness on the field can only be displayed in practice or during games. My ability to read plays and be in the correct position is something my coaches have become accustomed too, thus giving me so much trust on the field at LB in my sophomore season.
Finally, my strength and ability to pump iron is a blessing. Sometimes these traits are hard to showcase in individual camp style drills.
Freshman Year - Varsity Letter.
Sophomore Year - Varsity Letter, Starter at LB. Played special teams and Offensive Right Guard. Received Rookie of the Year and Best Lineman Awards. All Conference Selection.
