My versatility helps the team, because I can contribute in multiple ways. My football IQ helps me to be in position to make plays, as well as help put my teammates in position, so they can make plays. Being knowledgeable allows me to not have to think, which allows me to play faster.
My work ethic has allowed me to get bigger, stronger, faster, which, goes back to being able to make plays to help my team.
My passion and love for the game has given me the ability to inspire my teammates to work harder in everything that we do, which, as a result, makes us successful as a team.
How I play the game:
Smart, very coachable, always in position. Deceptively fast with a long, smooth stride. Coach on the field, a leader. Passionate about the game.
Outlook on High School Football and it's experiences:
My time as a high school football player has gone by entirely too fast. I will never forget all of the training sessions with my teammates, as well as before and after the games.
I'm really grateful for this season in particular, because it has taught me how to deal with adversity. Covid-19 almost took the season away, and missing the first few games due to a hamstring strain was humbling.
Discuss the potential opportunity of playing on the next level:
Playing in college is definitely a goal of mine. I'm not ready for this to be over. It would be an honor to have the opportunity to play at the next level. That's why I have worked so hard on the field as well as in the classroom. I have a 3.85 GPA, as my parents have always encouraged me to be well rounded. My mother is an educator, and my father is a former D1 athlete.
