My reading ability as a Middle Backer. For what I lack in speed or height, I make up with my ability to read the play better than the guy next to me and be in the right spot at the right time.
I'm a very coachable player. If I don't understand something first time, I'll listen exactly to what my Coach says and perfect it the next rep. I am a very hard hitter, I very rarely get blocked out or completely taken out of the play- even by bigger lineman.
Although I enjoyed my time playing at Marine City High School, it's time for me to look on to the next phase of my life. It was unlike any other experience I have ever had and I do not regret a second of it. Two accomplishments I am extremely proud of is a.) going 10-1 as a freshman my first year on varsity, and b.) rebuilding the program with an amazing group of seniors in my fourth season, and doing it all with 6 starting sophomores on defense at that. I now look forward to finding a new school and team to call my home, and to work as hard as I possibly can for them.
Playing football at the next level is something I am extremely interested in. It is the epitome of teamwork, brotherhood, and hard work from everything I've seen watching different college games throughout my life. That is something I want to be a part of. I would want to tell a Coach that although I may not be the fastest or the biggest backer out there- I KNOW that I am going to work harder than anyone in that position and earn my way up the food chain.
