I always support my teammates through successes and especially failures because you win as a team not as an individual. I perform extremely well under intense pressure something I learned playing soccer at a very high level. I have been very consistent with PATs and FGs. Sophomore year I made 49/53 PATs and FGs combined. Junior year 13/15 combined.
How I play the game:
I am determined and extremely focused. I try not to let anything distract me on the field. I am not afraid to hit if players get to the last line of defense after kickoff. I am respectful of my coaches and my teammates and always try to encourage them. I am very coach-able because I always want to learn and do better.
Outlook on High School Football and it's experiences:
It has been the best experience of my life. There is no greater camaraderie and no greater high than when you are on that field. I have been blessed to have one of the greatest football coaches in the state of Michigan or anywhere really. Not only is he a great coach on the field but a mentor and a great person off the field. We could all take a lesson from him. I have learned to pick myself up after failure and to look ahead. I reflect on the past only long enough to learn what I did wrong and to correct it going forward.
Discuss the potential opportunity of playing on the next level:
Absolutely. I love the game and I love what I do. I would like to continue in college or as far as I can go. I want a prospective coach to know that I am a hard worker and determined to win and to do better every time I go out on the field. I have developed thick skin and very little rattles me on or off the field. I am totally fine with a tough coach and can take a "whipping" when it's needed. :) I am very consistent on the field and not afraid to get hit or to hit.
