1 year of jv
OregonĀ , Miami, Central MichiganĀ , Duke
I didn't play in pal like most of the other kids in the DPS PSL. So when I got to Cass I was a receiver who was barely going to get any playing time. We had our first scrimmage at Clarkston and they moved me to corner on the freshman team and I did ok, but in the jv game I did really good with 2 picks and 2 receptions. After that other high schools started looking at me as well as the varsity coaches for Cass. There is a strong possibility of me getting moved up and playing both jv and varsity next year. What makes me different is I was never a big star athlete in little league which means I'm not stuck up. I'm a very aggressive player who puts a 100% effort on the field.
I'm not the hardest hitter but my tackling form makes up for it. My best skill is by far my coverage skill. This season I have gave up 1 touchdown and 3 catches. I have good knowledge of the game and I'm great at reading QB's and plays. I'm also a very coachable player.
This season was really good being my first in high school. I look to improve all my skills and fundamentals this off- season. Next year I'm looking to start on jv again and also get moved up for the state playoffs. My junior year I want to either be in the rotation or start on varsity. I want as many D1 offers as I can get.
I have a strong plan and goal to play in college, football is my passion and one of the things I love most in life. I would tell my coach that I'm one of the hardest players they ever had, and that I'm always open for improvement.
