University of Detroit Jesuit 2018 OT Carlos Vettorello has committed to Syracuse

University of Detroit Jesuit 2018 OT Carlos Vettorello has committed to Syracuse University following an official visit to their campus over the weekend.

Vettorello impressed colleges with his consistency on the field as a 3-year starter on Varsity and impressed with his measureables and testing in the off-season.

Vettorello will join Tyrone Sampson from East English Village Prep, as two players from high school's in Detroit in Syracuse's Class of 2018.

In July 2017, Vettorello released a top 6 list, but the list didn't include Syracuse. Vettorello informed The D Zone at the time he was looking to commit before his senior season, but didn't want to rush his decision.

Vetterello never wound up committing to anyone until this evening to Syracuse.
