Troy Athens OG Ryan Rockensuess concludes career at Austin Peay with 38 starts

2018 (Senior): Anchored the left guard spot for all 11 games of 2018, bringing his career number of starts to 38 and his consecutive starts streak to 32… vital contributor on an the offensive line that allowed just nine sacks in 11 games, and was not responsible for any of those sacks… interior run blocking helped the Govs lead the OVC in rushing for the second straight season, as the Govs put up 237.5 yards per game on the ground… aided the Govs in setting school records in yards per game, touchdowns, points, points per game, yards per play and yards per rush.

2017 (Junior): Named to the All-OVC second-team at guard… helped pave the way for the nation’s sixth-ranked rushing attack that generated 3,105 yards… integral part of the Govs’ offensive line that allowed only 10 sacks all season… started all 12 games for Austin Peay… recovered a fumble for a touchdown against UCF.

2016 (Sophomore): Interior line anchor has become one of the Governors veterans… saw the first offensive snap in nine games: Eastern Illinois, Murray State, UT Martin, Jacksonville State, Mercer, Southeast Missouri, Tennessee State, Eastern Kentucky and Kentucky… aided an offense that gained more than 4,000 yards total offense for just the second time in school history.

2015 (Freshman): Were hoping to bring him along slowly, but injuries thrust him into the lineup and he responded with a solid freshman campaign… made 10 appearances, including five consecutive starts to close the season and a start against Southern Miss.
