Saginaw 2000 grad, Roy Manning hired on UCLA's staff per report

Roy Manning a class of 2000 graduate from Saginaw High School and the University of Michigan player/coach was hired away by UCLA away from Washington State this week.

Manning was the linebackers coach at WSU for 3 seasons after stints at Cincinnati and Michigan. Incoming Head Coach Chip Kelly, according to Bruce Feldman, has hired Roy Manning as the Bruins Special Teams Coordinator.

In Manning's senior year in 1999 he helped lead the Trojans to the Division 2 State Championship over Brother Rice. Manning graduated with Saginaw grads, Charles Rogers and Jeremiah McLaughlin in the Class of 2000.
