Millington 2018 LB Briar Bearss on Thursday evening flipped his verbal commitment from Michigan Tech University to the United States Army Academy.

The Linebacker committed to Michigan Tech in mid-December and on the same day received an offer from Army.

Briar was a different beast this fall for the Cardinals helping them to a 10-2 record and a District Championship. He doubled as a RB and played LB.

Briar had 227 career tackles in his three year varsity career including 113 this season. Along with seven sacks and five interceptions as a Senior.

Bearss will join two others from Michigan who head to Army in the Class of 2018: Henry Janeway - Eisenhower and Drew Kraatz - Standish-Sterling.
