Michael Ojemudia is the 1st Michigan HS graduate drafted in the 2020 NFL Draft (Story)

With the 77th pick in the 3rd round of the 2020 NFL Draft, the Denver Broncos selected Michael Ojemudia of the now closed Farmington Hills Harrison HS.

Ojemudia started all 12 games in which he played, missing one game due to injury during the ’19 season. He accumlated 52 tackles (41 solo stops), had three interceptions and nine pass break-ups, and one recovered fumble. As a junior in ’18, he in all 13 of the team’s games with seven starts at cornerback, recording 39 tackles, three interceptions and six pass break-ups.

The Associated Press, Big Ten media members and Phil Steele named Ojemudia second-team all-conference. League coaches tabbed him as a third-teamer.

Michael Ojemudia is the 45th Michigan HS graduate to be drafted in the 3rd round of the NFL since 1954.

Michael Ojemudia is the 6th Farmington Hills Harrison player to be drafted to the NFL and the first since Aaron Burbridge in 2016
