Lenawee Christian beats Chassell to win the 2018 Class D State Championship
Lenawee Christian defeated Chassell 57-36 in the 2018 Class D State Championship game on Saturday morning.
It was the first time that Lenawee Christian won a Girls basketball championship.
Lenawee Christian was paced by Freshman Bree Salenbien who had 20 points and 2 nights earlier had the game-winning shot vs. Sacred Heart in overtime.

March, 2018- The most amazing thing about Bree Salenbien is that she is only a Freshman and already one of the best players in the entire state (and she is in Class D). She burst on the scene after her strong showing at the 2018 State Championships, where she led her team to the title (including a last second shot in the semis). She is a gifted passer and has a very high IQ.
