Lansing Catholic TE Tony Poljan has signed as a UDFA with the Baltimore Ravens

Lansing Catholic 2016 TE Tony Poljan was signed as Undrafted Free Agent soon after the 2021 NFL draft ended on Saturday evening by the Baltimore Ravens.

Poljan began his career at Central Michigan where he signed as a QB out of high school, but in 2020 he transferred to the Virginia Cavaliers.

ESPN said this about the 6'7 250 lbs TE, "Poljan, a former quarterback, has the frame, toughness and strength to develop into a solid in-line blocker at the NFL level. He is a big target who is willing to go over the middle and take a big hit to make a play. Poljan doesn't have the burst to threaten after the catch or the second gear to get behind the defense." -- Steve Muench
