East English Village 2018 DE Desjuan Johnson flips commitment to Toledo
East English Village Prep 2018 OLB/DE Desjuan Johnson pulled off a little shocker this past weekend when he flipped his commitment to Toledo after being committed to Western Michigan since the end of June.
The 6'3" 225 lbs Johnson is normally too tough to contain by opposing offenses as he has versatility and size to dominate as a DE or OLB depending on how East English Village Prep wanted him utilized. Johnson also worked both ways as a solid offensive lineman as a senior.
Toledo was the 2nd school to offer Johnson back in April, 1 day after he picked up his first offer from Kent State. Later in the month WMU offered and Johnson committed after camp season to Western Michigan.

8/23/2017: Earlier this off-season at Camp Pride we said he could develop into a DE or OLB. Johnson apparently had his mind set on DL as he earned a top performer award at the time despite being undersized at the time. From Camp Pride to now Johnson added 10 lbs of muscle. Johnson has an extremely quick jump and is strong at contact, leaving a slower OL in the dark 10 out of 10 times.
College interest: Johnson is one of the kids we love to see at a camp, because seeing him go from 0 offers to 5 in this off-season is testament to his hard work and dedication. Things picked up quickly for Johnson in April as he received his first few offers within a few days of one another. Johnson is committed to Western Michigan.
