Cranbrook wins shoot out with Bishop Foley 43-41, WR Yolles hauls in 3 TD's

Junior Alex Yolles caught 6 passes for 110 yards and 3 TD’s as the Bloomfield Hills Cranbrook Cranes survived a late charge to defeat the Madison Heights Bishop Foley Ventures 43-41 on Saturday.

This was the first divisional game for both teams in their CHSL Intersectional I schedule. The win moves Cranbrook to 2-2 on the season, while Foley falls to 3-1.

Senior QB Shane Wittenburg went 9 for16 and 110 yards with 1 TD passing, while rushing for 25 yards and 2 TD’s. Junior QB Preston Washer went 4 for 3 and 81 yards and 2 TD’s.

Senior QB Dylan Gough went 17 for 33 on 287 yards and 3 TD’s in the loss for the Ventures.
