I'm out there (free safety) calling out offensive changes, telling the secondary what to expect along with making sure my keys are in the sequential order. I've progressed to the point where I can recognize false reads and change my pursuit to where the ball is actually going. Awareness is a key factor in my position so that factor is always being built upon. I find my ways around offensive linemen and get to the ball in the shortest possible route possible.
I apply my brain to the game, by understanding how the opponent plays based on watching film or previous experience I can apply the mistakes I've made in the past and turn them into big plays. I would say I'm very coachable while keeping my emotions in line. I stick to the fundamentals, such as gator rolling a tackle. I'm not out there to rack up my stats or be the center of attention, I'm there to get the win with my team.
I've always had a positive outlook on life, the past cannot be changed but it can be a lesson. I've attended a rigorous high school prodigy program (Kalamazoo are math and science center) along with playing sports so there's really no time to dwell over a mistake. I hope to gain a college degree in an engineering field and progress on my life. I've attended programming competitions, research competitions, and have a prominent network of mentors.
The idea of playing football at the next level has always been on my mind. As I progress through high school it starts to become a realistic dream. I've excelled at every level I've played at and that results from the extended hours I've worked whether it's in the weight room or on the field.
