I had the opportunity to play varsity football sophomore year, but instead chose to play JV to acquire more experience and get more time running the ball. I made this decision also due to the fact I ran cross country as well as a secondary dual sport. I sprained my wrist in the third game of the season yet played through the adversity.
I feel as if I am a smart football player, from the way I read the field to the positions I play. I was more speed-based in my 2018 season due to the fact I was only 5'10 and 145 pounds but I had a 4.9 40 which I used to my advantage as well as my cutability and stamina.
I want to keep playing football and basketball, and let one of them take me to college. I am putting in the work and slowly seeing results. I worked hard last off-season and pushed my way into the tailback spot and led the team.
I am in love with the idea of playing on the next level. I've been told I have the height, athleticism, work ethic, some of the strength and the IQ. I am working on gaining weight and becoming faster, stronger, and more explosive than any competition I would have. I am up to the challenge of being a collegiate athlete, all the work it takes, and the journey there.
