Michigan State University invited me to their sophomore recruiting day. MSU has also invited me to a invite only camp for this summer., The Wabash University recruit talked to me at the last Legacy event I went to. He has asked me to come for a college visit when I can.
I am explosive on the field and I work hard and give 110% during practice and in games. I am strong in multiple positions as a tackle, tight end, defensive end and long snapper.I am quick on my feet, I can catch, I am a fast learner, and have a good comprehension of the game. I have a great work ethic, I am constantly trying to improve myself every day and I work hard in the gym and in the classroom to reach my next goal. I am also a leader who encourages and motivates my team members to be all that they can be. I try to be as close as possible with my teammates so that I gain their trust and respect. You will not find someone who works hard for the greater good and the benefit of the team like I do.
I play smart. I look how the defense and offense move and I talk to the coaches about what is happening on the field. They ask me what is working and what is not and then they adjust what they are doing. I am coachable and take constructive criticism well and try to accomplish what they are telling me what to do without giving up. I hit hard every time and never give up hope.
My long term goal is to play college football. In order to reach my goal, I break down my skills and work on them to become ready for seasons to come. My short term goals are to bench 275 lbs and squat 355 lbs by this season. I want to also run at least a 5 second 40 before next season. I also want to improve my 1 on 1 ability to pass rush and read the play. Another goal I have by this season is to make our football team a 30 person unit and not just 30 individuals.
Playing football is my passion because I want to compete and grow as a person and a player of the game. Playing college football means that I would be competing at a higher level. This would increase my competitiveness and my drive to be the best player and person I can.
