The list is based off of our evaluations throughout the off-season and various recruiting events like Mega camps (bigger college camps, Camp Pride, etc. where the top recruits attend and perform vs. equal or better competition played a major role in a lot of our decisions).

Stay tuned also for a major announcement and more rankings to be unveiled exclusively on The D Zone and our social media platforms prior to and during the season.

- List of complete #1-151 Player Rankings and more

50. Cass Tech 2019 CB Xavier Goldsmith

- The young Cornerback is like a vulture on a dead animal. Goldsmith presses well, covers better, and changes direction/breaks on routes even better. Despite minimal varsity experience, Goldsmith has the intangibles to play on the next level.

College interest: Goldsmith thus far has earned 17 various offers. Goldsmith will look to continue his strong recruiting process as a junior.

49. U of D Jesuit 2018 OL Carlos Vettorello (No photo)

- The Cubs return an extremely active member of their Offensive and Defensive line in the senior, Carlos Vettorello. Vettorello is a strong, aggressive, and well balanced lineman who isn't afraid to make first contact with opposing defensive lineman.

College interest: Vettorello blew up with 20 offers and should be committing soon with a top 6 of: Boston College, Illinois, Iowa, Kentucky, Pittsburgh, and Oregon State.

48. Oak Park 2020 WR/DB Enzo Jennings

- Jennings was among a few Knights who were able to have an early impact as Freshman and the future is bright for the young athlete. Jennings has great length and natural athleticism which allowed him to succeed as a Freshman on varsity vs. a tough schedule.

College interest: With Kentucky and Syracuse offering early, it's certainly a sign of what's to come for the sophomore who already holds 6 offers.

47. Cass Tech 2018 DE Andre Carter - Western Michigan

- Carter is explosive, big, strong, and fast defensive end who enters Cass Tech from Southfield A&T. Carter had 10 sacks as a junior, but we're counting on much more as a senior. As a senior we fully expect Carter to be nearly unblockable on every play and draw double-teams, etc.

College interest: Carter was flocked by all of the MAC's and even at the time committed to Western Michigan over Power 5 offers and remained committed despite Purdue offering once he committed.

46. West Bloomfield 2019 LB/DB Lance Dixon

- The incoming junior is expected to be have one of the biggest recruiting spikes anywhere, as he'll transition to LB. Dixon blew schools away with his measureables and skill over the summer so look for that to align perfectly for this upcoming season.

College interest: Dixon received 9 offers over camp season including 3 in one day plus a few big offers. This information will be out-of-date really soon.

45. Saline 2018 OL Dimitri Douglas - Michigan State

- The Spartans will be getting a great piece to their offensive line when Douglas enrolls next year. Douglas is a versatile lineman who showcased an ability to play all of the OL positions at the Spartans camp this summer. Look for a strong senior season from Douglas.

College interest: Douglas was up to 15 offers when MSU offered. 2 days following their camp when was offered, he committed to Michigan State.

44. West Bloomfield 2018 QB Bryce Veasley - Bowling Green State

- It seems like in the thick of how much talent West Bloomfield has, their QB get's overlooked. Veasley is a phenomenal quarterback who can make all of the throws plus he has the ability to run and keep plays alive. Veasley will be spreading the ball around well and it's scary to think what his final statistics will be.

College interest: With 5 MAC offers in hand, BGSU offered Veasley the best chance to come in and compete for the starting position, as Veasley explained (Story).

43. Cass Tech 2019 RB Lew Nichols

- After breaking out as a sophomore, the sky in 2017 is the limit. Nichols is prototype RB in a state that normally doesn't produce elite RB's. Nichols will certainly have the chance to earn that title these next 2 years. Nichols previously played at Southfield A&T.

College interest: An elite RB is coveted by colleges which explains why; West Virginia, Missouri, Indiana, Kentucky, and UCLA have already offered.

42. Muskegon 2018 QB La'Darius Jefferson - Central Florida

- Jefferson started his career off at Muskegon, transferred to Mississippi, and then back at as a junior to help the Big Reds reach the Division 3 state finals. Jefferson split reps in Muskegon's veer offense with Kalil Pimpleton last year. Look for Jefferson to continue his dominance in Muskegon's run heavy offense.

College interest: Jefferson held 13 offers when he shocked many by committing to Central Florida, where he will be the first Michigan signee ever.

41. West Bloomfield 2018 WR A.J. Abbott - Wisconsin

- Abbott has been dangerous thus far, but is still filling up his frame. Abbott is an athletic freak on the outside who will be tough to stop on jump balls and routes that use utilize Abbott's athletic abilities. Abbott previously played at Northville.

College interest: Abbott received 14 offers and was beginning to blow up early in camp season before he shut it down and committed to Wisconsin.
