Saturday, Division 1 Round 3 2017 Playoffs Recap, Clarkston has comeback win

Region 1:

#15 Clarkston erased a 22-6 2nd half deficit vs. #21 West Ottawa, Senior RB Josh Cantu had another massive performance running the ball. Clarkston won 29-22.

Region 2:

#19 Catholic Central defeated #17 Canton in a back and forth game that was decided on a failed 2 point conversion that the Shamrocks stopped Canton to hold on to a 1 point lead.

Notes: Every single news site besides The D Zone removed CC from their top 25 at one point this year, the Shamrocks never left our top 20 rankings.

Region 3:

#3 Cass Tech 2019 RB Jaren Mangham dove over top a pile with 7 seconds left to ensure Cass Tech reached the semi-finals in Division 1 for the 8th season in a row in a thrilling 32-26 win over #10 Chippewa Valley.

#8 ranked West Bloomfield 2018 QB Bryce Veasley scored a 4-yard touchdown run with 50 seconds remaining to lift the visiting West Bloomfield Lakers over the #4 ranked Eisenhower Eagles.
