The year 2020 in Michigan High School Football can be a year that people will never forget.

Whatever the reason for 2020, the storylines are rich and the talent level is at the roof both in terms of high school prospects and NFL Draft prospects.

Below is a preview of the 2020 NFL Draft that will highlight Michigan High School Football graduates in alphabetical order of their high school:

Cass Tech 2017 WR Donovan Peoples-Jones (Michigan Wolverines)

- Peoples-Jones is by far the most athletic and freakish player we've covered in Michigan since starting in 2010. DPJ should clear himself from the pack as the best receiver in Big 10 next season as he's a great route runner and will have the same QB as last year throwing him the ball.

Peoples-Jones will be on a mission to be the best receiver in the draft next year and his primary competition will be Alabama receiver Jerry Jeudy who was ranked by all scouting services below Peoples-Jones out of HS, but Jeudy has shown to be the best receiver thus far in the class of 2017.

Stats: DPJ had 47 catches for 612 yards and 8 touchdowns in 2018. 6'2 210.

Cass Tech 2015 QB Jayru Campbell (Ferris State Bulldogs)

- Campbell has rebounded well from his incident in high school that left him with no senior season and no scholarship from Michigan State. Campbell won a national title in JUCO and as a junior at Ferris State last year helped lead them to the Division II National Championship game. Campbell won the Harlon Hill trophy which is the D-II Heisman Trophy.

Campbell a former Michigan State commit who held scholarship offers once from, Alabama and Notre Dame is a D1 QB playing in D2 and he'll have another season to show scouts he has potential to play in the League.

Stats: Led D-II with 43 total touchdowns, 2,453 passing yards, 23 pass TD's, 1,188 rushing yards, and 20 rush TD's in 2018. 6'5 215.

Clarkston 2015 OT Cole Chewins (Michigan State Spartans)

- Chewins transitioned from a State Champion TE to an impact player for the Spartans following a Redshirt season in 2015. Chewins was the Spartans starting LT in 2018 with 25 starts and 37 games played in 3 years.

Stats: 25 career starts at LT. 6'8 300.

Detroit King 2016 CB Lavert Hill (Michigan Wolverines)

- Hill will be one of the best CB's in the draft next year, he probably could have been drafted somewhat early in the draft this year but chose to return for his senior season at UM.

Stats: 14 tackles and 1 interception in 2018, starting all 13 games. 5'11 181.

Detroit King 2015 OLB Tyriq Thompson (Michigan State Spartans)

- Thompson is coming off a career year in 2018 and with his upcoming senior season in 2019, the expectations for Thompson are raised even higher.

Stats: 31 tackles, 2 tackles-for-loss, and 1 sack in 2018. 6'1 240.

East English Village Prep 2016 DL Cedric Lattimore (Iowa Hawkeyes)

- Lattimore has never taken up a Redshirt while at Iowa, as he's played since his Freshman season for the Hawkeyes. The DE is coming off of a 21 tackle and 1 sack junior season.

With AJ Epenesa being a highly projected pick in the draft next year, he should draw a lot of attention and double teams leaving the opportunity open for others such as Lattimore to have a productive season.

Stats: 21 tackles and 1 sack in 2018. 6'3 295.

Farmington Hills Harrison 2016 DE Khalid Kareem (Notre Dame Fighting Irish)

- Kareem helped key the Fighting Irish defense in 2018 as they reached the College Football Playoff before falling to the eventual National Champions, Clemson. Kareem had a chance to leave UND early this year, but chose to return for his senior season and boost his stock even more.

Kareem has excellent pass rushing abilities and has the ideal size. There appears to be several highly regarded DE's coming into the draft next year and this years draft had 5 that went in the 1st round.

Stats: Kareem had 43 tackles, 5.5 sacks, 11.5 tackles-for-loss, 5 PBU's, and 1 forced fumble in 2018. 6'4 263.

Farmington 2016 MLB David Reese (Florida Gators)

- Reese has been a tackling machine since his days in high school at Farmington and that's certainly been the case at Florida too. Despite missing part of the season in 2018 with an injury, Reese still finished 2nd on the team with 77 tackles.

Stats: 77 tackles and 2.5 tackles-for-loss in 2018. 6'1 248.

NorthPointe Christian 2015 DE Kenny Willekes (Michigan State Spartans)

- Willekes started his path from a walk-on in 2015 to an All-American in 2018. Willekes has cemented himself as the best DE in Big 10 by winning the Big 10 Defensive Lineman of the Year award in 2018 and did we say he was an All-American yet?

Willekes is a top-notch pass rusher who has thrived at Michigan State and proved to be one of the most reliable players with over 150 tackles, 15.5 sacks, and 35 tackles in just 27 career games.

Stats: 78 tackles, 8.5 sacks, 20.5 tackles-for-loss, 1 forced fumble, and 1 PBU in 2018. 6'4 262.

Renaissance 2016 OT Alaric Jackson (Iowa Hawkeyes)

- Jackson is coming off a Redshirt Sophomore season in which he was 2nd team, Big 10. Jackson started in all 12 games he played as a sophomore in 2018 at Left Tackle.

Stats: 23 career starts in 2 years. 6'6 320.

Waterford Mott 2016 WR Desmond Fitzpatrick (Louisville Cardinals)

- The Redshirt Junior may not enter the draft next year but definitely could play himself into the draft with a big year in 2019. Louisville will have a new head coach as Bobby Petrino was fired and Fitzpatrick was targeted much less than his RS Freshman season.

Stats: 31 catches for 422 yards and 3 touchdowns.

Western International 2015 RB Romello Ross (Central Michigan Chippewas)

- Ross in just 8 games last year averaged 4.5 yards a carry and is certainly the Chipps top senior draft prospect along with fellow RB Kumehnnu Gwilly (Utica) who is a junior. The two split 160+ carries in 2018.

Stats: 89 carries for 402 yards and 2 touchdowns in 2018. 5'10 211.
