The D Zone is thrilled to host our inaugural Pro-Style Combine on Saturday, March 23rd at 2 SP Sports Performance in Bloomfield Hills.

Participants will be tested and measured in events mirroring the NFL Scouting Combine including; electronic 40-yard dash, electronic 20-yard short shuttle, electronic vertical jump, standing broad jump, bench press for reps (225 lbs, 185, or 155), height, weight, wingspan, and hand width.

The action begins at 4:30 and there will be 3 sessions that last 2 hours each. Participants will arrive 30 minutes before their start time to check-in.

The combine roster is loaded with sleeper prospects, under the radar juniors, and several future stars who will be looking to gauge what they need to improve on before summer camps. As we've seen in the past events like this also boost a recruit big-time.

(Registration is open until Saturday morning)

Oak Park 2020 WR Maliq Carr is a 6'5 215 lbs prospect who holds 34 offers. Carr is one of the top receivers in the state and beyond the Midwest in his 2020 class. We've been following Carr since his 8th grade year and have seen his tremendous growth.

Williamston 2020 DT Eston Miles has been experiencing a tremendous spike in his recruiting process with an offer from Rutgers last month and a half-dozen MAC offers. The 6'3 310 lbs DT impressed last we saw him at a Rising Stars training session.

Walled Lake Northern 2020 DT/OC Kyle Arnoldi received an offer this past Fall from Cincinnati and has taken several visits this year which has resulted in 3 offers in the past month from; Buffalo, Eastern Michigan, and Toledo. The 6'4 290 lbs lineman is hearing from other Power 5 and MAC schools and should be in line for a big summer.

Birch Run 2020 OT/OG AJ Polley impressed big-time this past Winter at the 250 Showcase. Polley is a 6'3 240 lineman who should have a pretty intriguing summer.

Essexville Garber 2022 DE/TE Alex VanSumeren is as we've seen in the past is well above the pack in his class as the 6'3 265 lbs Freshman normally goes head-to-head with upperclassmen at camps and has regularly impressed in the process. We expect VanSumeren to be near the top on Saturday as well.

Harper Woods 2022 CB Christion Stokes is a 5'11 172 lbs Freshman who should be experiencing a major spike in his recruiting process soon. Stokes did a nice job on Varsity as a Freshman and played well at RB too.

Unity Christian 2020 S/ATH Isaac TeSlaa went from 0 to 100 on a lot of radars this past season by leading Unity Christian to the D5 state championship and also helped UC win the Division 2 state championship in basketball a few months later. TeSlaa is a long and rangy prospect who as we seen in the state finals is a big-play waiting to happen.

Swan Valley 2020 DL Carson Berenyi is a physical freak who has the potential to turn this camp upside down with his skill set at 6'2 250 lbs.

East Lansing 2021 WR Andrel Anthony might be the best receiver that no one knows about yet. The dual-sport athlete is 6'2 155 and has the length and athleticism that colleges crave. Anthony hasn't been out to many football events due to being a basketball player as well.

West Ottawa 2021 WR Blake Bosma is a 6'3 185 lbs receiver who has been starting on Varsity since he was a Freshman. Bosma has good hands and runs his routes well. Definitely in the discussion as a top 2021 receiver.

Avondale 2021 RB David Hollomon will be a name to know as he has blazing speed and will be a player we expect to test really well.

Port Huron Northern 2020 RB Theo Ellis is a explosive 5'9 186 lbs speedster who we expect to perform exceptionally well.

Kingsley 2020 RB/MLB Payson Caballero is one of the most productive returning players in Northern Michigan under Kingsley's new power-t offense. We look forward to seeing Caballero in this type of setting.

Manchester 2020 TE/DE Braeden Caszatt is a 6'5 210 lbs prospect who will be looking to put his name on the map. This will be our first look at Caszatt in-person.

Grandville 2021 RB Camron Terry is a powerful and strong 5'9 185 lbs RB in Grandville's power-t offense so camps and these events really help his exposure. Terry in the next 2 years could be one of the most productive RB's in the state.

Riverview 2020 DE/TE Thomas Gardner missed his junior season due to a injury so we hope this begins the 6'3 185 lbs DE/TE Welcome Back Tour.

Groves 2021 RB/Slot Colby Taylor is a explosive playmaker who has speed and is shifty.

Grand Haven 2020 DE/OLB Connor Worthington will be a name to look out for as Grand Haven looks to get back to their winning ways. Worthington causes havoc on the field and should be a name all in-state and regional coaches know.

Kalamazoo Central 2020 CB Justin Reed stood out at Saginaw Valley State camp a few weeks ago and we're ready to see the 6' CB in this type of setting. Several teammates will be heading along such as 2022 RB Andre Tarver who we expect big things from.

Redford Thurston 2020 WR/CB Keith Lovelady is a player who recently entered our radar following a solid performance at a Michigan Elite workout earlier this month.

Lake Orion 2020 RB/OLB Kobe Manzo is one of the best players in the OAA and doesn't hold a D1 offer in the conference which is known for producing D1 recruits regulary. The 5'10 207 lbs recruit has been productive and earned the praises of many coaches in the conference. Manzo finished 7th in the state for Powerlifting in his weight class.

Wyandotte Roosevelt 2021 LB Logan McGraw is an upcoming LB prospect who we'll be seeing for the first time.

Dakota 2020 OC Tyson Wheeler and Dakota 2020 OT Connor Wolfgang form a strong interior/outside line for the Cougars and they are both players who should draw strong college interest from the summer through their senior seasons.

That's all for now, many players are intriguing and some ranked that we didn't mention in this article. Saturday should be an action packed day and full of exciting moments and learning experiences for the Student-Athletes. Stay tuned next week for more extensive coverage.
