Okemos Football off to blazing start, Top Performers through 4 Weeks

The Okemos High School football team is 4-0 and off to their best start since 1998. The Chiefs have outscored their opponents 178-8 so far this season. Coach Jack Wallace is a hall of fame coach and should be in the running for statewide coach of the year so far. The roster features depth and experience, including a talented group of upperclassmen. Below are some of the seniors making a huge impact for the team this fall.

2018 TE Patrick Nugent is a physical tight end with great hands. Nugent has 4 TD catches in 4 games so far. Click for Video Highlight

2018 QB/WR Dom Clerkley is an electric player with great speed and quickness. He has 6 TDs -- rushing and receiving -- through the first four games. He is a candidate for the area's player of the year title. Click for Video Highlight

2018 FB/LB Drew McGaughy is a great linebacker who plays from sideline to sideline and a physical inside runner who has 9 touchdowns in 4 games. Click for Video Highlight

2018 RB/DB Damian Hudson is a talented player on both sides of the ball with a knack for making big plays. Click for Video Highlight

2018 RB/DB Brandon Clark is an exciting player who's tough to bring down as an RB and a ball hawk on defense. Click for Video Highlights

2018 QB/DB Jason Pridgeon has played great so far at QB with multiple games with 2 TD passes. He's also an outstanding safety with multiple interceptions on the season so far. Click for Video Highlight

2018 defensive lineman Charles Arrington is the area's best interior lineman with great size and strength. He has several TFLs so far this season. Click for Video Highlight
