OK Conference Top Performers From the District Semifinals

The MHSAA state playoffs kicked off this past Friday as 23 teams from the OK Conference took the field in hopes of advancing to Friday's district championships. Below are the athletes from the OK Conference who stood out.

Zak Ahern, QB, Rockford 2021”

Zak ran 17 times for 143 yards and a touchdown and completed 5-of-9 passes for 64 yards and a touchdown in Rockford’s 40-7 win over Grand Ledge. Rockford will host Grandville in a Division 1 district championship on Friday, November 5th.

Trey Johnson, Grandville 2022"

Trey had four sacks, seven tackles and a pass breakup in Grandville's 45-8 win over Traverse City West.

Brock Townsend, RB, Caledonia 2023”

Brock rushed 37 times for 201 yards and two touchdowns in Caledonia’s 28-14 win over Byron Center. Caledonia will face Mona Shores in a Division 2 district championship at Grandville High School on Friday, November 5th.

Mark Konecny, QB, Mona Shores 2022”

Mark ran 29 times for 152 yards and a touchdown and completed 5-of-8 passes for 72 yards and a touchdown in Mona Shores’ 31-7 win over Forest Hills Central.

Ryan Mitchell, RB, Cedar Springs 2023”

Ryan ran 13 times for 146 yards and a touchdown in Cedar Springs’ 45-6 win over Coopersville. Cedar Springs will play Muskegon in a Division 3 district championship game on Saturday, November 6th at 1:00 p.m. at Muskegon High school.

Ja’Marte Hogan, RB, Grand Rapids Christian 2022”

Ja’Marte ran 20 times for 204 yards and two scores in Grand Rapids Christian’s 48-24 win over Spring Lake. Grand Rapids Christian will face Unity Christian in a Division 4 district championship at Jenison high school on Friday, November 5th.

Ace Thomas, WR, Grand Rapids Christian 2021”

Ace had 82 rushing yards and a rushing touchdown and caught six passes for 58 yards and two touchdowns in the Eagles’ win.

Nate Brinks, RB, South Christian 2023”

Nate scored three rushing touchdowns in South Christian’s 52-7 win over Plainwell. South Christian will play Hastings in a Division 4 district championship at Hastings High School on Friday, November 5th.

Abraham Rappuhn, RB, Unity Christian 2022”

Abraham rushed eight times for 171 yards and a touchdown in Unity’s 67-0 win over Forest Hills Eastern. Unity will host Grand Rapids Christian on Friday.

John Passinault, QB, Grand Rapids Catholic Central 2022”

John completed 14-of-22 passes for 343 yards and four touchdowns in Catholic Central’s 42-0 win over Belding. Catholic Central will host West Catholic in a Division 5 district championship game on Friday, November 5th.

Tim Kloska, RB, West Catholic 2022”

Tim rushed 26 times for 193 yards and two touchdowns in West Catholic’s 42-0 win over Comstock Park.
