Throughout the week, we will provide previews for some of the top matchups throughout each round of the playoffs.

Division 4 Matchup:

Niles (8-1)

These two teams met in Week 9, with Niles pulling off a 21-0 win. The Vikings won eight straight games to close out the regular season, after a Week 1 loss to St. Joe. Niles is a dynamic rushing team with an imposing, hard-hitting defense. The Vikings have lost only one regular-season game each of the last two years. After a long postseason drought, this is Niles’ fourth straight playoff appearance.

Paw Paw (8-1)

Red Wolves offensive tackle Darrin Strey is headed to Kentucky next season. He’s one of the keys to the offense as a road paver and physical leader. This can be a potent offense that scored over 40 points in five games. Paw Paw has lost its last four matchups against Niles, including both last year. If the Red Wolves can generate some momentum on offense, this could be a much closer game than the regular-season finale.
