Throughout the week, we will provide previews for some of the top matchups throughout each round of the playoffs.

Division 1

Macomb Dakota (9-1)

This will be a rematch of Week 7 when Eisenhower handed Dakota its only loss of the season in a 21-14 battle. It was the only game Dakota scored below 28 points, as they totalled 330 for the season and allowed just 73. Dakota shutout a very tough Oxford team late in the season, proving they can win physical battles. It’s tough to beat a team twice in a season, so Dakota will hope they figured things out this time around.

Utica Eisenhower (8-2)

Eisenhower scored over 300 points for the second straight season, but they have also lost two of their last five games. In between the losses, they did defeat Dakota in a thrilling rivalry game. The two teams both play a physical style and they know each other well. Both teams have great offenses, but it wouldn’t be surprising if this was a lower-scoring game, especially with so much on the line.
