Throughout the week, we will provide previews for some of the top matchups throughout each round of the playoffs.

Division 3

DeWitt (10-0)

The Panthers put up a whopping 563 points this season, never scoring under 42 points in a game. Few teams at this level can accomplish that, especially in a tough, Lansing-based conference. DeWitt has scored at least 300 points every season since 2009, making them one of the most consistently dominant offensive teams in the state. The Panthers have reached the playoffs every season since 2006, last making the state finals in 2021

Lowell (8-2)

Lowell also possessed a high-octane offense this season, scoring 380 points - eclipsing the 300-point mark for the third straight season. Lowell lost two of their first three games this season, but have now won seven straight. Lowell has not been extremely battle-tested this season, but they possess an elite program, missing the playoffs just once since 1996. If Lowell can halt DeWitt’s mighty offense, this could be a sneakily close game.
