​Jermain Crowell has been hired as River Rouge's new head football coach on Jan 22nd

Jermain Crowell has been hired as River Rouge's new head football coach after the hire was approved by River Rouge's school board on Wednesday night.

Crowell served a 2-year suspension that is now expired.

He was hired following the 2014 season after serving as the DC as Cass Tech helping the Technicians have one of the best defenses in the state during his tenure.

Before Crowell was suspended in 2022, he had a record of 82-10.

Belleville won the D1 state championship in 2021 and 2022.
