Season Recap: Hillman snuck in with a 5-4 regular season record for the second year in a row extending their playoff streak to 11 years but got their first playoff win since 2007 in a upset over previously undefeated AuGres-Sims. Lincoln-Alcona in the playoffs for the 3rd straight season and in their second straight District Championship. Only two losses this season came by 1 point to Lake City and 2 to AuGres-Sims.

Series History: Alcona leads the all-time series 13-7 winning in week 2 this year 28-8. Hillmans last win came in 2011 winning 6-0.

Common Opponents: Same conference but Alcona went 4-1 vs common opponents and Hillman went 3-2.


Headlines: Both schools are regulars in the playoffs but both have a hard time winning playoff games. The winner will be the first district champion for their school in history.
