The 2021 football season is slated to kickoff on August 26th at noon and the action will not stop until Saturday evening. Most of the top 25 teams face tough competition this week and some winning streaks may be snapped early this season.

Dewitt are the defending Division 3 State Champions and are definitely expected to make another long run this year. TC Central is a strong contender in Division 2 again.

Below are the prospects we're aware of entering the game. We look forward to discovering more talent.

DeWitt:

2022 QB Ty Holtz (Brown commit) returns for his senior season after helping DeWitt win D3 last year and he looks even better throwing now. He's still a threat on his feet and can play Safety too.

2022 WR/S Tommy McIntosh (Wisconsin commit) is as good as they come at the two positions in Michigan and through the midwest. He had a monstrous junior season and will look to follow it up with an even better senior season.

2022 WR/CB Nick Flegler (Air Force commit) was an underrated piece for DeWitt last season and is certainly one of the best playmakers in the state. The 5'11 185 athlete will return.

2022 WR/RB/OLB Bryce Debri - 5'11 185 was a major piece for DeWitt last year as he's sure-handed and always made plays on both sides of the ball. He has no offers yet, but he should draw serious looks this year.

2022 OT/OG Trevor Dennis returns as of the few remaining starters after their OL lost a lot to graduation. The 6'2 260's Dennis holds strong D-III interest now but should see an increase this year.

2022 OG Tyler Nordmann at 6'7 340 will have an opportunity this year to open a lot of eyes. He'll have an increased role with seniors graduating and once he excels as a senior in DeWitt's complex up-tempo offense, recruiting should really pick up.

2025 QB Aspen Keyes will only see time under the 5-quarter rule, but the 6'2 180 lbs QB is destined to be one of the top players across Michigan in due time.

Traverse City Central

2022 LB/RB Josh Burnham (Notre Dame commit) is one of the best players in the state, he's an incredible playmaker at linebacker and can drop in coverage when needed. He plays QB is dangerous with the ball in his hands.

2022 OT Keegan Opper had a big junior season and off-season that resulted in the 6'4 270 lbs OT picking up a combined 10 D1, D2, D3, and NAIA offers. Opper is a physical player but moves well and gets downfield.

2022 OT/TE Brett Weaver (Grand Valley State commit) is a 6'6 230 lbs player who picked up 5 offers this off-season before recently deciding on GVSU. Weaver is an athletic prospect who can still add a lot of weight to his frame.

2022 S/WR Carson Bourdo is one of the best playmakers that most people do not know about yet. He should be moved around offensively and exploit opponents' matchups in space. 5'11 185 and holds 3 offers.

2022 WR/CB Dante Williams 6'1 175 lbs holds D-III interest now and will be a name to know for a senior breakout year.

2022 DE Kadyn Warner is big as a must-know name as there is in Northern Michigan. The 6'5 240 is a beast one the line of scrimmage and had a good off-season. He holds some NAIA and D-III interest now but things will rise for him this year.

2022 OG/DT Gavin Graczyk is a solid interior lineman prospect at 6'2 225 lbs.

2022 OC/DT Davis Hurley returns as the teams center alongside several classmates on the OL. 6'1 265 with NAIA and D-III interest.
