#2 Cass Tech and #3 King enter this showdown with a huge win over top teams from Muskegon, Cass Tech beat Muskegon 49-14 and King beat Mona Shores 40-19. Most years this game is a toss-up and that'll be no different this year, as the teams are so talented and well-coached. Cass Tech is on a 2 game winning streak over King.

15 players in this game hold Division 1 - FBS offers.

Below are the prospects we're aware of entering the game. We look forward to discovering more talent.

Cass Tech:

2022 DT/OT Deone Walker holds 34 offers and is an absolute terror to play against. He has been a standout on both sides of the ball this year.

2022 OG/DT Jackson Pruitt had a big off-season and saw his recruiting pick up to 33 offers and he trimmed his final list down to 7 schools. An athletic and versatile player who plays with a chip on his shoulder.

2022 WR/S Jameel Gardner (Bowling Green State commit) is an elite athlete and he'll go up and get just about anything. He's been an absolute treat to watch this year.

2022 OG/OT Masai Reddick (Tennessee commit) is coming off a nice junior year and big off-season which saw him commit to SEC school Tennessee. Reddick is a solid pass block/run block lineman who always gets the job done. Was one of the most impressive players we saw this year so far.

2023 DE Jalen Thompson is coming off a massive sophomore season and immediately reaped the rewards as he picked up 16 offers since the season ended. Thompson is a tough to block pass rusher and can run. He's done well this year and has been playing some OL as well.

2023 CB/WR Javen Sewell isn't afraid to mix it up with opposing DB's and can cover just as good as anyone in Michigan. It's kind of surprising he hasn't gotten his first offer yet.

2023 TE/WR Khamari Anderson is a monstrous target at 6'4 220 and moves extremely well and has good hands. The younger brother of Michigan signee Raheem Anderson. Developing very well and will be a major name soon.

2022 CB Míles Gilmore - Has been playing great this year and has been making plenty of plays.

2022 MLB Kyle Booker comes in with big shoes to fill this year behind Kobe King. The 6'1 225 lbs Booker already picked up an NAIA offer.

2022 RB Karriem Sharrieff is a huge-bodied RB who is a downhill runner and has no problem breaking tackles.

2022 WR Nate Briggs is an explosive pass-catching machine who is a big threat in the Slot. Also solid at defensive back.

2023 QB Leeshaun Mumpfield returns after starting as a sophomore last year. Mumpfield is a true field general and can make tough throws. He is up to 11 passing touchdowns this year which leads the state.

2023 RB Shamar Snow is a quick and fast RB who is looking to make a name for himself this season. He's been looking better and better each week.

2023 TE/DE Ra'Sean Randall is a very intriguing prospect at 6'4 200 lbs. He looked good at receiver in 7on7 this year but has the frame to add much more weight to. He holds a Syracuse offer.

2022 TE Julius Faulkner - A nice-looking TE prospect who is an H-Back who blocks well and is a big threat in the passing game.

2024 OG/DT Jaylen Washington - Has filled in nicely this year as the OL has looked tremendous through 2 weeks.

2023 S/OLB Kaden Wilson - Stepped up vs. Muskegon with 3 nice TFL's including an early monster hit on a slot in the open field and he'll look to continue his strong start to the season vs. King.

2022 WR John McIntosh - Caught what seemed like a miraculous catch at the time, but open rewatching his touchdown. It was a great catch in bounds and he'll look to keep it going strong.

2022 WR Latrell White - Emerging as another vertical threat for the Technicians and that's bad news for opponents. He's scored twice this year with strong DB's on him.

Detroit King:

2023 QB Dante Moore - Leads the state in passing through 2 weeks vs. ELITE opponents. He's only getting better and more confident as the year goes on.

2022 WR Lynn Wyche is a shifty and elusive playmaker who is sure-handed and is a key piece to this offense.

2023 OT Johnathan Slack is a 6'3 270 lbs top-notch prospect who is an athletic player who does well for King. Holds 15 offers now.

2023 OLB Cole Olsztyn is a tremendously athletic linebacker prospect who can move well and run. Looking for a breakout junior season.

2022 WR Joseph Williams is in our opinion is very solid prospect. Great hands and can run good routes. He's a possession receiver threat but also can stretch field with his length.

2022 DT Terence Maize is one of the best defensive tackles in the state. Highly productive and always a force upfront. Caught a touchdown pass last week as an h-back.

2023 WR/DB Jameel Croft Jr - A solid long and lengthy prospect who is athletic and can run.

2023 WR/TE Kenneth Merrieweather - A tall prospect who is a threat downfield.

2022 WR/DB Trae’vion Meadows is a nice and physical player who can create space on offense.

2022 WR Dimitri Glenn - Underrated senior receiver who can provide big plays.

2022 LB Imani Dowdell and Blake Bailiff are similar LB's both attack the ball well and are very physical at getting to the ball.

2023 DE Messiah Blair emerged this season and is a dangerous pass-rushing weapon for the Crusaders.

2022 OG/OT Zontez Calhoun saw his first offer come in after first game of his senior season.

2022 OC/OG Terell Hollingsworth Jr is an interior mauler and key piece for interior OL of King.

2022 OT/DT Cameron Roetherford - was one of our favorite lineman the last 2 years at Michigan Collegiate and now he's at King. Athletic big man.

2022 WR/S Chansey Willis Jr - Very athletic player, who also plays hoops. Excellent ball skills and a downfield threat to make a big play.

2025 OG Antonio Johnson - Cracked the lineup as a freshman and will be a name to know these next 4 years.

2022 RB/CB Terrence Brown comes in from Chandler Park and should have an impact for King.

2022 WR Lamont Parks - Comes to King after Western International folded their football program this year and he's a really good receiver prospect. Being at King and being a reliable target will give him a major boost in his recruitment.
