Grand Blanc and East Lansing embarked on a great game at the Vehicle City Classic. An elite 4th quarter by Grand Blanc was the difference in this game as they walked out on top 40-34.

We'll break down top performances below:

Grand Blanc:

2022 RB Elijah Jackson-Anderson - The Eastern Michigan commit is so athletic and strikes like a cannonball upon contact. He had some big runs to get the offense in a grove early in the game and sealed it late. Almost was responsible for an interception after great pursuit to the ball which forced an errant pass.

2022 LB Cross Dobbs - The 6'2 210 lbs GVSU commit was outstanding with several tackles around the line of scrimmage and pursuing tackles around the sideline. Your classic MLB prospect.

2023 S/WR Jaylen Johnson - Had some good overtop coverage and used length well. Made a little impact on the offense too.

2022 OT Andy Hartman - Plays with a chip on his shoulder at the position and drove back opposing DE's well and at key times in the game.

2022 OG/DT Jayden Lewin - The Wayne State commit was a strong presence for the interior OL of GB and was getting stronger and stronger as the game went on.

2022 OLB Joe Marion - Was another outstanding player we tracked a few years ago and had a standout game at the position.

2023 DB Dillon Thomas - Had some good coverage and was defending well. Made some plays in special teams too.

2022 LB Ryan Deibis - Was a major standout for the Bobcats. He was just great in coverage and coming down to make plays all game. A late-blooming senior to know at 6'3 205.

2022 K Dylan Hertzberg - Delivered 3 big field goals during the game and they were from around 40 yards. Great on kickoffs too.

2024 OLB Nate Fidelino - Had big plays on special teams including 2 nice solo tackles and a fumble recovery after making contact with the East Lansing player.

2022 QB Hunter Ames - Gritty athlete who delivered when it mattered all game long.

2023 RB Kaden Baker - Had tough some inside runs that wound up being yards after contact.

2023 WR Justin Perry and Nasir Carson - I have the same thing to say about both; long, athletic, raw, and can run. Once they get more touches and experience, they'll be lethal. They're dangerous now.

2022 TE/WR Jack Goldie - Nice receiving TE, added a touchdown reception, and holds good college interest now.

East Lansing:

2022 WR Mason Woods - Set a school record with 212 receiving yards and plays with a purpose every snap. He was carving up the GB defense until they made key 2nd half adjustments. All in-state D-II's should be on him now!

2022 S/QB Brevin Jackson - Has the responsibility of being the Trojans primary QB and S with Ambrose Wilson sidelined. He was great in both and used his feet to run in the pocket and get off good throws. His 394 passing yards was a school record.

2023 WR/S Evan Boyd - Has a chance to be a really special talent. He runs well and is sure-handed.

2022 RB Asher Gregory - It seemed every carry was positive yardage. He makes people miss and isn't afraid to lower the shoulder and pick up extra yardage.

2023 WR Dorijan Jackson - Emerged as an upcoming weapon for the Trojans. He is shifty and has good breakaway speed.

2023 LB Kanye Jackson - Was a standout last year to us at RB when we saw EL play. This year he looks tremendous at LB and has some nice physical tools.
