In this first-ever meeting between two nationally known programs. Cass Tech started their opening drive with a 4-minute touchdown drive and led 42-7 at halftime.

We'll break down top performances below:

Cass Tech:

2022 DT/OT Deone Walker - Made a few tackles around the line of scrimmage and let other teammates make tackles. Did well blocking again.

2022 OT Masai Reddick - Again had another big-time game and shows why he's a top recruit for Tennessee.

2022 WR Jameel Gardner - Bowling Green State is getting an absolute talent who always makes big plays. He made a DB slip early in the game on a catch and it was only a sign to come as he was open throughout the game, scoring a TD.

2022 OG Jackson Pruitt - Strong game on the OL again from Pruitt. The offense was nearly unstoppable.

2023 DE Jalen Thompson - Had some very nice pass rushes, didn't have a huge statistically game, but his impact was felt big-time. Played some OT as well.

2023 TE/WR Khamari Anderson - Another big game in which he added a nice touchdown catch. Played some defense too and did well at DE.

2022 CB Míles Gilmore - Made some good tackles near the sidelines and across the middle of the field helped force a fumble early in the game.

2022 WR Nate Briggs - Had some nice routes and reliable hands. Had a nice and athletic touchdown reception and blocked well.

2023 QB Leeshaun Mumpfield - Is a QB every high academic / service academy should be on now. He's so smart running the offense. He threw for 5 TD's and his scoring drive before halftime was a masterpiece. Cass got in field goal range and following -10 yards of penalties, Mumpfield escaped pressure in the pocket and threw a TD pass in the back corner of the endzone.

2023 RB Shamar Snow - Ran well all game long, had to be close to 100 rushing yards during the game and an early rushing touchdown. Ran well between and outside of the tackles.

2022 RB Karriem Sharrieff - Had another very strong game running the ball. Sharrieff provided several big runs and had many broken tackles.

2022 TE Julius Faulkner - Had some nice blocks to fuel the offense and counted 1 catch.

2023 S/OLB Kaden Wilson - Stepped up a big-time on Friday with 3 nice TFL's including an early monster hit on a slot in the open field.

2023 DE/TE Ra'Sean Randall - Had some nice pressure out of the DE spot and was getting in the backfield, raw prospect who will get better as the year goes on.

2022 MLB Kyle Booker - Has been a standout through 2 weeks as he replaced Kobe King at the position. Not many big plays have been made on CT this year, especially when the game is close.

2022 WR John McIntosh and 2022 WR Latrell White - Each blocked well and added nice touchdown receptions during the 1st half.

2024 OG Jaylen Washington - Started for the 2nd straight game and looked good again, certainly the next big OL prospect to come out of Cass Tech.

2022 OC Shanin Hall - Was great again for Cass Tech after replacing UM bound Raheem Anderson at center. All of his snaps were good on Friday.

Muskegon:

2022 DB/ATH Myles Walton - Showed some flashes of his playmaking ability on offense as their QB. He added a nice rushing touchdown and was tasked with covering BGSU commit Jameel Gardner mostly in man-to-man.

2022 Slot Da'mari Foster - Was the Big Reds top offensive threat this game with some nice runs, breaking tackles, and showing off his speed.

2024 Slot Destin Piggee - Had a nice and shifty run to the outside and burst upfield. The future will be bright for him.

2022 MLB Tamareon Oakes - Had a really active game and in on many tackles. Overall had a really productive game.

2024 RB Jakob Price - Burst for a long touchdown run late in the game after a huge week 1 performance.
