Divine Child too much for Cranbrook-Kingswood in key CHSL Crossover, Top Performers & more

The top CHSL crossovers game took place on Friday night as Divine Child of the AA knocked off Intersectional opponent, Cranbrook 28-14. The two teams could possibly meet in the Division 4 playoffs.

Michigan State bound Theo Day was 13-18 for 155 yards and 1 TD. Day ran 12 times for 68 yards on the ground. Divine Child's Marcus Owens had 86 yards rushing.

For Cranbrook-Kingswood:

• QB Trevor McConnell finished the game 11 out of 21 for 103 yards and 1 TD.
• RB Aaron Wiggins went 11 carries for 85 and 1 TD.
• Junior WR Kobi Russell had 2 receptions for 64 yards. He's drawing some heavy interest from out of state Power 5's.
• DE Chris Smith led the team with 11.5 tackles
• K/P Pierson Cooke kicked a 56 yard punt and went 2 for 2 on PAT’s.
