Detroit King and Muskegon to meet in 2018 and 2019 Regular Season
The D Zone has learned this morning that Detroit King and Muskegon are soon to agree on a 2-year deal where they will meet in week 2 of 2018 and 2019.
Muskegon finished the season #1 ranked in the state and as high as #13 in the country on some polls in 2017 while Detroit King who won the Division 2 state titles in 2015 and 2016 finished at #5 in the state. Muskegon won the Division 3 title this past Saturday.
in 2018 Historic Hackley Field will be host to the King Crusaders and in 2019 King will host Muskegon.
Both teams should be highly ranked in 2018 as they return many key players.
The D Zone broke news earlier this Fall that Muskegon and De La Salle who wound up being the Division 2 and Division 3 state champions will be meeting in week 1 for the next 2 years. Read more on that match-up here.
