Cranbrook outpaced by Divine Child 62-14 in CHSL crossover contest.
The Bloomfield Hills Cranbrook Cranes were outpaced by the Dearborn Divine Child Falcons 62-14 on the road last night. The loss in the CHSL crossover matchup puts the Cranes at 0-2 on the young season, while the Falcons move to 1-1.
QB Krish Upadhyay went 16 for 30 and 193 yards and 2 TD’s in the loss. WR Jacob Speller caught 6 passes for 80 yards and 2 TD’s for Cranbrook.
RB Tyler Traub had 5 carries for 95 yards and 3 touchdowns, while RB Marcello Vitti had 7 carries for 70 yards and 2 touchdowns for Divine Child.
“We showed a lot of heart tonight”, said Cranes Head Coach Jon Clauss. “We continued to fight even though we got behind early against a well-prepared team. Our team spirit remains high as we move on through the season.”
Cranbrook marches on to face Marine City Cardinal Mooney on the road, while Divine Child hosts Milford next week.
