Cranbrook outlasts Bishop Foley 52-36; claims first CHSL Basketball Title.

The Bloomfield Hills Cranbrook Cranes put a mark in the history books as they claimed their first Catholic League Championship at Callahan Hall Sunday.Defeating the Madison Heights Bishop Foley Ventures 52-36, Cranbrook completed one its preseason goals: to hoist the CHSL tournament championship trophy.

Torrell Williams finished with 14 points and Tim Hauxwell had 12 points to lead the Cranes.Sam Seipker had 14 points to lead Bishop Foley.

“We felt we could make a run at a championship, and we’ve accomplished that today.I am proud of this team," said Cranbrook Head Coach Shane Finney

This is the first Catholic League basketball championship for Cranbrook, which joined the CHSL in 2010.
